Please note that essential repairs and improvements to the paving directly outside the surgery and surrounding areas is scheduled to begin on Monday 7th October.  

Parking may also be affected whilst the repairs are taking place. We ask our patients to please bear with us whilst these necessary safety improvements take place.

New Telephone System

During September 2019, we will be upgrading our telephone system. We ask that patients please bear with us as we install the new system and train staff. We hope the new system will bring improvements to both patients and the practice.

Welcome to the Northfield Medical Centre website.  We serve the area of Leicestershire with a population of over 11500 patients. 

Northfield Medical Centre has modern facilities, disabled facilities and car parking.

Mission Statement

Northfield Medical Centre aspires to offer high quality holistic care to all our patients, involving them in the decisions that affect their health. We believe that the best possible care can be offered by working closely with all providers, both in the community and within the hospital setting. 

As a training/teaching practice, we strive to provide excellent training for the GP's of tomorrow, helping them to understand that General Practice can offer so much.

Access & Facilities

At Northfield Medical Centre reserved parking spaces for the disabled are marked near the front door and there is wheelchair access to the building at the front entrance.

Patient services are provided at ground floor level and a disabled patients' WC is provided near the front entrance. If access proves difficult to any of our patients we would be happy to consider any suggestions for improvement.
